Accessibility Statement
Everyone deserves a comfortable night and a site that works for them. We build toward WCAG 2.2 AA on the website and account, share venue accessibility details for each event, and welcome requests for accommodations. If something gets in your way, tell us and we'll fix it. All events are 21+.
01 Our commitment
We want TampArotic to be usable and welcoming for everyone, including guests who use assistive technology. Our goal for the public website and account experience is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we treat it as part of doing this well — not an afterthought.
02 On the website
- Event details are real text, so screen readers and search tools can read them; artwork is supplemental.
- Keyboard navigation throughout, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
- Solid color contrast, resizable text, and layouts that reflow on zoom and on small screens.
- Full support for reduced motion — animation is decorative and switches off when you prefer less.
- Meaningful alternative text on content images, and color is never the only way we signal status.
03 At events
Our events are hosted at different clubs and hotels, so physical accessibility varies by venue. We'll share what we know — parking, step-free entry, seating, quiet areas, lighting and sound — and you can ask about specific accommodations before you buy. For a practical checklist and how to ask, see accessibility for first-timers.
04 Ongoing work
Accessibility is never finished. We continue to test and improve, including with keyboard and assistive-technology checks, and we'd rather hear about a problem than have you work around it. If part of the site or an event experience isn't working for you, that's a bug to us.
05 Report a barrier
Hit a wall on the site or planning to attend? Email tamparotic@gmail.comwith what happened — the page or event, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you use, if you can. We'll respond and work to make it right.
Whether it's the website or a night out, we want everyone to be able to join in. Reach out and we'll help.
